Message from Woodroad Regeneration Forum (Updated 23/3)

As many of you are aware, to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Woodroad Park and the 160th Anniversary of the Viaduct, the Woodroad Regeneration Forum had planned a Carnival Event in association with other organisations.
Another group has now taken the Carnival Event organisation over and our celebration event will now be held in September of this year. As many of you are aware, the Woodroad Regeneration Forum had searched for many months for the last Carnival Queen in the hope that we could have her crown the new Carnival Queen.
As arrangements had already been made with schools, it has been agreed that Create will now host the Carnival Queen without the Woodroad Group. We hope all the children have a wonderful day and wish to thank the schools and Education Department for their support to us.
Our new event planned will also coincide with the Cumnock 500 Celebrations. We have a great deal of events planned and a few surprises along the way.
Any group who has made contact with the Woodroad Project should now have been contacted by letter but if there are any queries then please do not hesitate to contact us on 01290 429333 or 07748592385. There will be a limited number of stalls for the new event hosted on the 25th September so please contact Linda on the above numbers if you wish to secure a place.
