The Association was formed in 1919 and members can fish parts of the Lugar and Glaisnock waters as well as Borland Reservoirs.
This is now the fourth year of a five year stocking policy on these rivers.
Borland Reservoirs is a fishery run by members of Cumnock & District Angling Association on a voluntary basis for the benefit of the association and its members.
Memberships at £25 +joining fee of £10 are available as are visitors day tickets, at £12 for 2 fish then catch and release, c/r only ticket £8 at the Reservoir on the day.
We are a Trout Masters fishery
We are affiliated to SANNA and are members of East Ayrshire Lochwatch.
We are situated 1 mile South of Cumnock on the A76 Kilmarnock- Dumfries road.
The Reservoirs are fishing very well with great catches being had on catch and release,some into double figures.There are good rises in the evenings with fish rising to small dry flies.
